Foundational Beliefs

  • We Believe that the Bible, inerrant in the original manuscripts, is the infallible and authoritative Word of God, which reveals to us the truth about God and our relationship to Him.
  • We Believe in one God who has eternally co-existed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three are infinite and equal in substance and perfection.
  • We Believe in the full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ. We believe that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to the virgin Mary.
  • We believe in His sinless life, His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension back into heaven, His pre-tribulational rapture of the Church, and His personal, visible, pre-millenial return to earth to set up His kingdom.
  • We Believe in the full deity of the Holy Spirit and that He was sent to regenerate, indwell, guide, teach, empower, and sanctify the believer, and to convict the unbeliever of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
  • We Believe that all men are sinners by nature and by choice, and are, therefore, separated from God.
  • We believe that man is totally unable to save himself and that those who remain in that condition will be condemned to eternal punishment.
  • We Believe that salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ to all men. Salvation is by grace though faith and is based on the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who trust in Christ as Savior are born again by the Holy Spirit thus becoming the children of God, and are given the free gift of eternal life. Good works are the subsequent fruit of salvation.
  • We Believe in the Church which is composed of all those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ and are, therefore, the redeemed, born again children of God. Christ is the Head of the Church which He has commissioned to go out into the world as His witnesses, to preach the Gospel, and to make disciples. The Church meets in local assemblies for the worship of God, for prayer, fellowship, edification, equipping, the proclamation of the Gospel, the use of spiritual gifts still valid for today, and for the observance of ordinances of the baptism and the Lord’s Supper (communion).
  • We Believe that Christians are called to a Spirit-filled life and are to be separated from all sinful practices.
  • We Believe in the personality, power, and evil nature of Satan who is the ruler of the fallen angels. Demons are the personal enemy of God and every child of God.
  • We Believe that every person will be bodily raised from the dead. For the righteous it will be a resurrection unto life. for the wicked it will be a resurrection unto judgment.
  • We Believe that Christ’s promise to return is an incentive for holy living and faithful service.
