Dr. Steve Stanley has been the pastor at Scholls Community Church since 2004. His ministry focuses on preaching and teaching the whole Word of God to equip believers to do the work of ministry. Prior to coming to Scholls, Pastor Steve served as a senior pastor in Phoenix, AZ. In addition to his pastoral ministry, he has taught Bible, theology, and biblical languages at both college and seminary levels.

God’s call on Pastor Steve’s life started when he was 10 years old. He accepted Christ as his Savior after a children’s ministry on a Wednesday night. His involvement in ministry began when he was a teenager. He began helping in children’s church, and before long he was learning from the leaders in his church to teach and preach. Although he had scholarship offers from universities, he chose to pursue a career in ministry. Pastor Steve took his training seriously, and he holds several degrees. He has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in pastoral Studies, a Master of Theology degree, and a Ph.D. in biblical studies.
